My name is Jermaine Harp, born February 8th,1983 and raised in Macon Ga. Growing up in West Macon on Madden Ave, I was introduced to all activities associated with subpar living conditions. I mean it was the hood lol. Although this was the environment, my mother, aunts and grandmother made sure I had a balance of responsibility, knowing God and building character. At an early age I was given the Bible and was required to study it, but even then it registered to me in a way that wasn't being taught. I couldn't quite understand at the time, but I was drawn to the spiritual laws and principles that directly affected my way of thinking in a profound way. These principles carried me through out life, helping me overcome some of the greatest challenges I would ever face. These challenges included me serving 8 1/2 years in federal prison. I had to conquer mental health issues as a result of being incarcerated, overcome not knowing what my purpose or talents were and I struggled to truly succeed because I didn't believe in myself. These challenges led me on the path of discovery. As I reflected back to the spiritual principles I learned growing up, I began to vigorously practice those principles in hope that God would move in me, and He did.. My soul purpose became to develop my self-image and Divine nature so that I could share it with the world, and hopefully influence others in a positive way.
